Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling School Counseling Info Sessions

Option 1: Attend an info session led by our Admissions Counselor

The School Counseling and School Psychology Programs at Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling offer two distinct paths to serve K-12 students. Our School Counseling Program emphasizes a democratic, systemic approach that gives graduates the skills to reach out to K-12 students whose needs are not being met, and to involve all members of the community—parents, educators, school- based staff, administrators, and peers-in ensuring student success. Our School Psychology Program offers the only EdS degree path in Oregon with national approval from the National Association of School Psychologists (NASP), ensuring graduates are able to find work both inside and outside of the state. School psychologists provide essential support services for students, teachers, families, administrators and other professionals to address the needs of children—social, emotional, and cognitive.

Each session will include an overview of the programs, along with information about scholarships/financial aid and the application process and timeline. There will be time for attendees to ask any questions they may have as well.

Option 2: Attend an info session led by Program Faculty

Program faculty offer a limited number of in-person and/or virtual information sessions during the fall of each year. These program-specific sessions provide an opportunity for prospective graduate students who have decided on a program to meet the program director and/or program faculty to learn final details about the academic experience and to ask any lingering questions prior to beginning their application.

Faculty offer info sessions October - December. This schedule will be updated when dates become available in the fall.

Please note which sessions are held in-person, on campus and which sessions are held virtually, via Zoom.
