Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling Master of Arts in Teaching Info SessionsOption 1: Attend an info session led by our Admissions CounselorThe Elementary and Secondary MAT Programs at Lewis & Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling prepare you to work in diverse school settings and with all children—including those from different cultural, linguistic, and economic backgrounds, and those who have special needs. Teachers learn to investigate and support each child’s unique growth—academic, social, and emotional—as citizens of the world. Here, extensive content preparation and research-based models form the basis of a rich intellectual experience and ensure your success beyond the classroom. Each session will include an overview of the programs, along with information about scholarships/financial aid and the application process and timeline. There will be time for attendees to ask any questions they may have as well. Option 2: Attend an info session led by Program FacultyProgram faculty offer a limited number of in-person and/or virtual information sessions during the fall of each year. These program-specific sessions provide an opportunity for prospective graduate students who have decided on a program to meet the program director and/or program faculty to learn final details about the academic experience and to ask any lingering questions prior to beginning their application. Faculty offer info sessions October - December. This schedule will be updated when dates become available in the fall. Please note which sessions are held in-person, on campus and which sessions are held virtually, via Zoom. |
